Mapping Police Violence

This Mapping Police Violence initiative is a live tracker that collects data on police killings in the United States. The website provides detailed data on police violence in the U.S. in 2024, including the number of people killed per day, the racial disparities in deaths, and the geographic distribution of the violence across states and counties.

“Law enforcement agencies across the country are failing to provide us with even basic information about the lives they take. So we collect the data ourselves.
